Comfort You'll Notice - A System You Won't

The only thing you'll notice with the Infloor Warm Floor Kit is the comfort - not unsightly ductwork or baseboards. Low-wattage heating cables are attached to the sub floor and covered with a mortar base or a thermal mass.  An inconspicuous wall-mounted thermostat connected to a heat sensor inside the thermal mass regulates the floor temperature to keep your floors consistently, pleasantly warm. Creating a very nice warm floor.

Installs Easily. Performs Economically.

Infloor install easily in bathrooms, kitchens, porches or patios - whether you're building, remodeling or adding on. It makes lower levels more enjoyable - even during the coldest winter months - and Infloor is extremely energy efficient. The 110/120v electric cables attach quickly to wood or concrete sub floors, and depending on the size of the area, the floor can be wired and ready for installation of the floor goods in as little as 60 minutes. With energy efficient, low-wattage heating cables - the small kit consuming only 120 watts - you'll enjoy luxuriously warm floors throughout your home for just cents a day.

Complete installation instructions are enclosed with each carton. Care should be taken to read and review the instructions prior to installation. Connect to 110/120v only.

Floor Covering.

The type of floor covering used will have an effect on the performance of radiant floors due to their variety of insulative qualities. The lower the R-value of the floor covering, the better suited for radiant floors.

Do not install the low-profile system under carpet, wood, or vinyl floor coverings

The use of marble, tile or wood thresholds will provide a smooth transition from warm floors to unheated floors.

Code Listings.

Local code authorities may have adopted variations to the National Electric Code that can alter the usage of this product. Should you have a question, please contact your local code authorities.

The kit is designed to warm your finished floor to a comfortable level. It will provide heat to the room in which it is installed, but should not be considered as the principle source of heating for the room.

Sizing the room for the Warm Floor Kit.

Step 1. Multiply the room length by the room width to determine the total square footage of the room.

Step 2. Subtract the areas under cabinets and other areas where cables won't be installed. Also subtract 6 inches (150 mm) from all perimeter walls. Note: The National Electrical Code does not allow electric heating cables to be installed in closets or under cabinetry.

Step 3. Now that you know the square footage, find the cable spacing in the chart below.

Please note a full line of 220 volt electric is available for larger areas for more information click on this logo
