Indirect Fired Water Heaters
| Indirect Fired Water Heaters,
also known as sidearm tanks, are heat exchanger tanks that are
designed to allow a boiler to run both space heating and
domestic hot water. Hot boiler water is circulated through
the heat exchanger portion of the tank and transfers its heat to
the domestic water. In this way, water is heated more
quickly and usually more efficiently. The use of an
indirect fired water heater will provide a higher output of hot
water with the same size tank. |
